Services and projects

The Jesuit Education Foundation offers pedagogical innovation services, transforming and changing centres, teaching and learning methodology geared towards teachers and students.

    • Guiding the School Boards (Consells de Direcció –CD) through the process of incorporating ICT and Internet to promote a change in methodology and culture in the educational process.

      Through this service, a team of experts from the CETEI focuses on guiding and working with management teams on the School Board to incorporate ICT and Internet as key tools to promote a change in methodology and culture, innovation, optimisation and improvement of the management activity as a whole and of each of the members, incorporating the full potential of new uses of ICT.

      This process includes the following main activities:

      • Guiding the creation of a strategic project for the school and in evaluating the school’s needs in terms of transformation and change, including the potential of ICT and Internet resources for achieving its goals.
      • Guiding the School Board in designing and implementing strategies to transform and change the methodology and culture of teaching and support staff.
      • Assessing the results and impact of the improvements on the students’ skills development.
      • Guiding the School Board to increase use of ICT and Internet for management activities.
    • Guiding faculty development in teaching competences for the use of ICT and innovation in teaching/learning processes.

      Through this service, a team of experts from the CETEI focuses on guiding and working with faculty to discover and apply the potential of new uses of ICT for innovation, optimisation and improvement of their teaching and students’ learning.

      The process includes the following main activities:

      • Identifying the school’s strategic project.
      • Assessing the faculty’s existing competences.
      • Drafting an intervention programme.
      • Carrying out guidance and support actions.
      • Working on individual actions and tutorials.
      • Assessing the results of the intervention with faculty in the classroom and the impact on students' learning.
    • Leading innovation in schools for specific, high-priority projects.

      Through this service, a team of experts from the CETEI focuses on providing leadership and guidance for teams involved in projects geared towards educational innovation processes in which ICT plays a key role to promote transformation and change.

      The process includes the following main activities:

      • Presenting the structure of the project to the School Board for approval.
      • Setting up a work team and presenting the goals and expected results of the project.
      • Guiding through the phases and actions of the project.
      • Leading and supporting the implementation of the project.
      • Holding feedback and adjustment sessions with the School Board.
      • Assessing the results.
    • Inter-centre innovation and research projects

      CETEI leads and participates in projects aimed at fostering innovation and research in the educational process in the schools in the network, opting for subsidies available from institutions in Catalonia, Spain and the world. 

      The process includes the following main activities:

      • Searching for appropriate subsidies in CETEI areas of expertise.
      • Integrating participating network centres.
      • Accepting participation of network created by other centres.
      • Designing proposals collaboratively.
      • If the subsidies are granted, leading and carrying out the project or participating in the network.
      • Presenting the results of the project.
    • Innovation, transformation and improvement projects geared towards public administrations, institutions and educational foundations.

      CETEI leads and participates in projects aimed at fostering innovation, transformation and advancement in priority fields to improve the education and results of students in our schools as well as the organisational and management processes of the team and related institutions.

    • Guiding faculty development in teaching competences for the use of ICT and innovation in teaching/learning processes.
      Through this service, a team of experts from the CETEI focuses on providing guidance and working with teams of teachers to discover and apply the potential of new uses of ICT for innovation, optimisation and improvement of their teaching and students' learning.
       
      The process includes the following main activities:
       
      • Identifying the school’s strategic project.

    • Innovation in educational products for companies in the education sector.

      CETEI offers its knowledge and expertise in the field of education to help develop and improve new products and educational tools through R&D&i processes.
