At our school, we place great value on learning the English language from the very first educational stages, as we believe it is and will continue to be a key tool for our students’ future. Mastering a foreign language not only holds the key for every child's future, but also allows students to find out about other cultures, develop an open mindset, and improve their communication and cognitive skills from an early age.
In MOPI, children are introduced to English in a completely natural and playful way. Learning at this stage is based on repetition, observation, and active participation. Through games, songs, puppets, stories, daily routines, and exposure to the new language, the children immerse themselves with enthusiasm and curiosity. These activities help them recognize sounds, intonation, and words spontaneously, encouraging comprehension and the use of simple everyday expressions. Moreover, early exposure to English fosters a better phonetic assimilation and a positive attitude towards language learning.
In Primary, we continue this process with an active and globalized methodology, adapted to the developmental stage of our students. We create situations in the classroom where they can express themselves and put into practice everything they have learnt up to that point. They act out dialogues, sing, play, read, write and express themselves naturally in English.
