Exchanges with the United States are underway
23 students from the 4th year of ESO and the 1st year of Baccalaureate from Jesuïtes Sarrià – Sant Ignasi have begun their exchange with various schools in the United States: Gonzaga (Washington D.C.), Friends Seminary (New York), Saint Peter's Prep (Jersey City, New Jersey), Oak Knoll School (Summit, New Jersey) and Marymount School of New York and Browning School (Manhattan, New York).
The aim of these three-week exchanges is to offer an immersive experience in US culture as part of the Global Citizenship framework that takes the student out of their usual environment and encourages them to put autonomy mechanisms into practice while reinforcing their English learning.
At the same time, the experience aims to help students build a life for themselves by offering them the opportunity to learn, get to know, and understand other countries, cultures, and people.
