Exchange programme with George Watson’s College in Edinburgh

Exchange programmes have been an integral part of our school life for many years. They are an amazing way for our students to become a member of the global community through experiencing new cultures, different school environments and gaining new perspectives in education.

From October 31st to November 7th 15 students from 2n ESO-NEI participated in an exchange programme with George Watson’s College (Edinburgh, Scotland). They got the chance to live with host families, understand their traditions and take part in a wide variety of school and outdoor activities. While staying with them, our students witnessed first-hand authentic Scottish hospitality.

During their 7-day stay, our students visited some of the most famous landmarks in Edinburgh such as Edinburgh Castle, the Scottish Parliament Building, the Scott Monument and climbed to the top of Arthur’s Seat. This international programme is also incorporated into our school project Enfoca’t in which students were able to broaden their knowledge about the social reality and demographics of Scotland.

Now our students are looking forward to hosting their Scottish friends in Barcelona during the month of April. Undoubtedly, it will be an unforgettable experience for all of them leading to lifelong friendships!
