A group of students from the Clara-Fay Schule Jesuit school in Schleiden, Germany, recently visited our school on an immersion-exchange programme.
The German students came to learn about our culture, our city and our country, participating in classroom activities with their partner, and doing other activities outside the classroom.

Among the activities were a day trip to Sitges (with a visit to the Casa Museu Cau Ferrat i Maricel), a visit to the Sagrada Família and Park Güell, a walk through Barcelona and a visit to the Centre Espai Moja, on La Rambla in Barcelona, where they were able to enjoy an immersive experience about Catalan cultural heritage.
At school, in addition to going to class with their partner, they also engaged in a workshop on Gaudí's 'trencadís' technique.
In June, a group of students from Sant Ignasi will go to Schleiden with the same idea: to strengthen ties of European and global citizenship, see inside a Jesuit school in another country, attend class with their partner (in English and German) as well as visiting the surrounding area (National Park, Cologne, etc.). This project is funded by Erasmus+.
