Sant Ignasi alumni Álvaro San, Maria Picó, Marta Masllorens, Mar Avilés, Antonio Jover, Anna Sanjuan, Berta Ibáñez, Lucas Akierman, David Benavent, Martí Matas, Alejandro Balañá, Cristina Acha, Míriam Guardia, Blanca Adroher, Marta Bossy, Andreu Fidalgo, Javier Ribas, María Amigó, Clàudia Puiggròs, Pol Millet and Inés Conde shared their university experiences with Year 1 Upper Secondary students.
The event was split into simultaneous round tables of the various fields of study: scientific, technological, social, humanistic and artistic. Here, the alumni set out their views on what the change from school to university meant, what they expected and what they encountered.
The students then asked them questions about the attitude with which you have to approach university studies, how you have to prepare yourself and what you have to work on in Upper Secondary.
The university studies the alumni chose are Medicine, Pharmacy and Nutrition, Psychology, Veterinary Medicine and Animal Production, Telecommunications Engineering, Energy Engineering, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Business Administration, Law, Journalism, Political Science, Public Management and Humanities. Today they have given a first-hand account of these programmes to the Year 1 students.
It has been a very useful and rewarding discussion for the Year 1 Upper Secondary students and a very touching encounter for the alumni.
