Sports Merit is an event jointly organised by the school and the Parents' Association which appreciates the excellence of students and teams in extracurricular sports. The prizes are given to boys and girls, either individually or as a group, who have stood out in sports results and also in team values, team spirit, fair play, hard work, interest and attendance.
The event was attended by the winning students, coaches and parents and emceed by the school's Director General accompanied by members of the school's Board of Directors and Parents' Association.
Awards were additionally presented in acknowledgement of the sports achievements of people who have set an example with their values, commitment and professionalism over the years in a range of sports.
On 12 June, the ceremony took place in the school's assembly hall to present the 5 sports achievement awards and more than 210 prizes in recognition of sports successes over the course of the season.
