Let's pray for peace

At the moment, in all Jesuit Education schools, we are completing activities in the search for peace in solidarity with the situation in Gaza.

At Sant Ignasi, all classes have also held activities, morning openings, and prayers for peace. The youngest have created the Peace Tree, a large tree that the children have filled with "peace leaves" with words and drawings that represent peace. Those in Vocational Studies have carried out an awareness-raising activity by putting themselves in the shoes of those who have had to leave their homes with only a two-hour warning. Other classes have been starting the day being conscious of those places where there is no peace, especially Gaza. We have prayed for the children who, due to armed conflicts, cannot enjoy even their most basic rights such as living in their own home, going to school, going to the doctor, or eating every day.

At the school, we want to help young people open their eyes, be sensitive and aware of the realities of the world around them so that they can commit to working towards peace.
