4th Year Lower Secondary Retreat

The 4th Year ESO students were able to enjoy a three-day break at the Manresa Spirituality Center, home to the Cave of Saint Ignatius. During our stay, through a variety of activities, we were able to step away from our daily routines and reflect on ourselves. This opportunity has helped many of us focus on the present and look toward the future with hope and enthusiasm, inspiring us to become men and women in the service of others.

The retreat has left us with a profound sense of inner peace. Stepping away from the constant noise of daily life has been a truly transformative experience, helping us recognize what is genuinely important. We were able to connect with ourselves and look inward; we return to our Galilees with the gift of rediscovering silence.

Over these past few days, we have learned to live in the present moment without worrying about what comes next; we have also learned to appreciate the little things around us and be grateful for every sign of love from others. We would like to thank Carles and Eusebi, who accompanied us throughout the retreat and knew exactly how to draw out what Saint Ignatius calls "the Magis" from within us. They encourage any classmates who haven't yet experienced this to do so at some point during their time at the school.
