Summer Camp in Washington DC

From 21st June to 2nd August, three students from the school had a six-week stay at Georgetown Prep, near Washington DC.

Irene, a Summer Camp participant, tells us about her experience:

We enjoyed a very enriching experience, both socially and academically. We had the opportunity to meet people from all over the world and improve our level of English as a result. In the morning we had English classes at our respective levels and worked on grammar and reading comprehension, or had debates on current affairs. Students at the highest levels had the honour of taking a specific class on public speaking.

In the afternoons, we had two hours to take part in a wide variety of sports. Georgetown Prep's sports facilities are spectacular!

After dinner, every night we did more fun activities. Over the weekends, we enjoyed cultural activities like going to museums (Smithsonian) and also visited different areas of Washington D.C. to learn about the political side of the city.

It was an unforgettable experience that I highly recommend!
