Annual AEHT Conference
From 4th to 8th November, Ms. Marta Munté, Head of International Relations at the Jesuïtes Sarrià – Sant Ignasi Vocational Training School, participated in the 38th edition of the Annual Conference of the AEHT(European Association of Hospitality and Tourism Schools) as a representative of our school and Spain. More than 850 participants, including students and teachers, took part in this edition held at the Tranellska School of Hospitality and Tourism in Vasteras (Sweden).

The AEHT was created in 1988 with 24 member schools from 16 European countries. It is currently made up of more than 400 schools across 40 European countries.
The association's main objective, and especially at this event, is to promote a European vision among Hospitality and Tourism schools, through, among other initiatives:
- The establishment of cooperative links between European Hospitality and Tourism schools, and the promotion of student and teacher exchanges.
- The promotion of hospitality training in member countries by holding international competitions on different specialities (culinary arts, restaurant and wine service, cocktail, front office, tourism destinations, barista, etc.)
This event is a magnificent experience for everyone: It highlights the importance of teamwork and each student's technical skills.
The next edition will be held in Ferrara (Italy).
