On the occasion of the celebration of the canonisation of Saint Ignatius, once again, the Jesuit schools of Catalonia celebrate Ignatius Week, a week dedicated to his spirituality. This year it will be from 9th to 15th March and we will do it under the motto 'Love as HE loved. Serve as HE served.' A very special celebration that invites the entire educational community—students, families and educational teams—to share and celebrate the legacy of Ignatius of Loyola.

This celebration recalls the life and experience of Saint Ignatius, who profoundly discovered how God is present in our lives and always accompanies us. In his personal journey he recognised that God's love is manifested in all things and in all people, and that this love also impels us to love and serve others.
Following this example, Ignatius Week is a time for gratitude, community and commitment. Ignatius and his companions show us that feeling loved makes us more grateful and more capable of putting ourselves at the service of others.
During this time, Jesuit schools organise various activities and celebrations that recall some of the core values of the Ignatian tradition:
Ignatius Week is also an opportunity to remember the commitment to our Common Home and to social justice. Schools promote progress towards a more just and inclusive world, where everyone has a decent, more sustainable, place to live without fear of discrimination and with all voices heard.
With all the activities and celebrations this week, the educational community wants to share a clear message: Love and serve with God in your heart, as Ignatius taught us.
Throughout the week, from 9th to 15th March, there will be various activities dedicated to Saint Ignatius, with Tuesday 10th March as a special day at our school. At the same time, the eight schools in the Jesuïtes Educació network in Catalonia will share activities related to Saint Ignatius in the final years of each stage.
We will close the celebration of Ignatius Week with the second edition of the Aplec Ignasià, which will take place on Sunday 15th March at our school. There will be activities for children (gymkhana) and adults (contemplative nature walk and cultural itinerary through Claver), Eucharist and a community lunch. Everyone is invited!
