Today, in Nursery School and Primary School, we celebrated Saint Cecilia, the patron saint of music and musicians, where all the pupils and teachers got to celebrate music with small concerts taking place in different parts of the school and various music-themed activities.

At Nursery School we see Saint Cecilia as a privileged opportunity to bring children closer to music, awaken curiosity, and offer sensory experiences connected with our emotions. This year we prepared an exciting and carefully planned day, adapted to each yeargroup, so that everyone in Nursery School and Early Childhood Education could enjoy quality musical offerings.
Nursery School: a musical tale that embraces autumn
The Nursery School children enjoyed a very special session led by Marta, from Clau de Conte, a specialist in infant education and in sound and sensory activities. She performed El Camaleó, a musical tale that helps the little ones discover the colours of autumn through soft music, small percussion instruments, and visual elements that captivate the children and capture a sense of wonder.
An experience designed to respect the rhythm of young children and to enhance the relationship between music, emotion, and storytelling.
Early Childhood Education 3: a musical story full of nuances
Through a musical story, the children discovered the expressive possibilities of this instrument: how it sounds, how it vibrates, what stories it can tell, and how it can transform a story into an audio experience full of nuances. An experience that encourages active listening, imagination, and artistic sensitivity.
Early Childhood Education 4: an excursion to experience the sounds and colours of metal
The children of Early Childhood Education 4 paid a visit to the Auditorium to enjoy the show 'The Colours of Metal', a proposal that brings the world of brass instruments one step closer through a sound journey full of energy. This outing offered a way for the children to experience music in a professional setting, discover new timbres, and delve into a repertoire designed to captivate children with high-quality performances.
Early Childhood Education 5: violin concert
The boys and girls of Early Childhood Education 5 visited the auditorium and enjoyed a violin concert.
The Primary School corridors were filled with musicians playing musical pieces on different instruments.
With all these musical proposals, the Saint Cecilia celebrations become a day to celebrate music in all its forms, to connect with creativity, and to promote artistic experiences that accompany the children's holistic growth. Each activity was carefully planned in order to ensure that music entered the classroom and our hearts with naturalness, respect, and great enthusiasm.
