In recent weeks, in after-school Art Attack sessions with @activaredes, the children in MOPI are discovering the artistic universe of Joan Miró. Through this work, students are immersed in the world of art in an experiential and creative way, experimenting with the primary colours (red, yellow, and blue) that are so characteristic of the Catalan artist's paintings and sculptures.

During these classes, students have been moulding plasticine figures inspired by Miró's sculptures. This first phase allows them to experiment with shapes and textures, encouraging observation, fine motor skills, and imagination.
They then transform these creations into clay sculptures, which are painted with the artist's characteristic colours and symbols. As a result, each student can reinterpret Miró's visual language from their own perspective, enjoying the creative process and discovering that art is also a form of expression and learning.
