Nursery 1: Discovering the world with our hands

In recent days we have been working on fine motor skills through different winter-inspired artistic proposals. The children have experimented with vertical lines, using the typical colours of the season, an exercise that helps prepare the hand for future learning such as drawing and writing.

We also enjoyed a very special activity: painting with white crayons. This activity invites children to explore, discover and be surprised by what appears on the paper while practising hand movement and stroke control.

Through these artistic experiences, children strengthen the small muscles of the hand, improve hand-eye coordination and develop their creativity, while enjoying the process.
