We welcome American students participating in exchanges with the USA
The Sant Ignasi students who travelled to the United States last November and December to join the exchange with different American schools, welcome their American classmates coming from schools in the East Coast of the United States to Barcelona.
There are currently 28 American students at the school, from 5 partner schools in the United States:
- Friends Seminary from New York (6)
- Saint Peter's, from Jersey City, New Jersey (13)
- Oak Knoll, from Summit, New Jersey (4)
- Marymount, from New York (3)
- Gonzaga, from Washington DC (2)
The boys and girls from the American schools are attending classes with their classmates from Sant Ignasi and have a series of cultural activities scheduled in Barcelona (Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, Park Güell, etc.).

These exchanges involve a total immersion in the culture and academic life of an American school and enable our students to develop their language skills, their ability to excel and allow them to learn in an unfamiliar setting, adapting to different learning methodologies and a family different from their own.
