In Early Childhood Education, we have started the "We Repair!" NODE with the classmates from TRImopi in MOPI3, MOPI4, and MOPI5. Through the inspiring figure of biologist Jane Goodall, we have discovered the importance of caring for the environment so that both people and animals can live in a better world.
This new NODE invites us to reflect on our role as responsible and committed citizens with the planet. Over the coming weeks, we will learn to recycle, repair, and reuse materials, promoting an attitude of respect and sustainability toward our environment.
With this proposal, we seek to foster ecological awareness, critical thinking, and the capacity for action in children, helping them understand the importance of caring for our common home, our planet.
Nodes are a methodological proposal based on project-based work. Children become the builders of their own learning through play, research and relationships with classmates, exploring according to their interests. They make the decisions and seek their own strategies to find solutions to the challenges and situations they encounter, while the adult acts as a guide. Work is conducted in inter-society communities to solve major and relevant challenges, thus promoting social relations and responding to the different maturity rates.
