On the occasion of the Diada de Sant Jordi (Sant George's Day), the Infant School pupils came dressed up with some kind of detail or costume related to the legend of Saint George and enjoyed a day brimming with cultural and fun activities, such as shared workshops, performances of the legend of Saint George and the reading of legends and stories.

This year on the Diada de Sant Jordi the children have worked from the node Our legends, through which they approach the literary genres of legend and auca (genre of a story in pictures).

A Floral Games were held in the early years of Primary School. In addition, the children of PIN1 shared the stories they had created with the pupils of MOPI5, and like the pupils of PIN2, they carried out art activities and enjoyed Sant Jordi-related language corners. PIN3 and 4 held a workshop to decorate the classrooms and corridors, read stories in English and enjoyed the play The Legend of Sant Jordi performed by the teachers of the Middle Cycle.

Year 5 and 6 NIS students have taken part in the 20th Amigant library bookmark competition. This year, the central theme of the contest was "The roses of Sant Jordi". They also took part in art activities, creating intertwined stories and visual poetry, and took part in the Floral Games.

In Lower and Upper Secondary, the activities have also been varied: watching the videos Libros de la infáncia (Childhood Books) and Me gusta leer (I like to read), exhibitions and book presentations, decorating hallways, presentation of new literary novels, 10-hand storytelling, literary wall, book recommendations and short reviews of readings. They also took part in a literary competition with the goal of fostering literary creation in Catalan, Spanish and English. The winners will take part in the district's Floral Games.

Happy Diada de Sant Jordi to everyone!
