In addition to the tasks proposed by the school with the aim of promoting study habits at home and reinforcing content previously worked on in the classroom, during these days the boys and girls in 3rd and 4th year of Primary will bring home a new proposal called the Literary Reading Meter.
This initiative aims to enhance the reading habit within the family environment. Daily reading is an essential tool for children's cognitive, emotional, and academic development, as well as being fundamental for acquiring knowledge, enriching language, and stimulating imagination.
To foster the reading habit at home, it is important to create a pleasant and quiet space that invites reading, to read in front of the children thus becoming a reading role model, to share moments of joint reading and listen to others' readings, to hold literary conversations about what has been read, and to visit public libraries and participate in book-related activities.
