In the academic year 2020-2021 at Sant Ignasi, we began offering senior cycle baccalaureate students the possibility of taking the Dual Baccalaureate Diploma with the goal of preparing them for new challenges.

The Dual Baccalaureate Diploma is an official programme for the international convalidation of high school diplomas created and developed by Academica International Studies, which allows students to obtain two simultaneous qualifications: the Spanish baccalaureate, through in-person attendance at school, and the American High School Diploma, through online attendance.

This interdisciplinary programme prepares students to acquire the best levels of competence based on three objectives:

Linguistic immersion in English: The programme is carried out 100% in English, but it goes far beyond learning the language. Students think and work in English.

Technological immersion (digital learning): Working on a virtual platform, students play an active role, set their own pace of learning, are responsible for building their knowledge and are the protagonists of their own learning process.

Personal immersion (self-management, responsibility and maturity): The student acquires responsibility and maturity in work, with a high level of autonomy, learning time management, adaptability and flexibility to work in different and multicultural environments.

From the school we want to acknowledge the effort, commitment, dedication and responsibility that the 14 graduating students have shown and congratulate them on obtaining the American High School Diploma.
