Mental Health Conference with the Mental Health Institute of Hospital del Mar

The Mental Health Conference organised by Hospital del Mar in Barcelona and in collaboration with the school's Professional Studies Department was held for the second time on Wednesday 10th April in the auditorium of Jesuïtes Sarrià - Sant Ignasi.

The conference, entitled New models of learning and interventions in Mental Health, was a major meeting and discussion point for patients, professionals and students interested in solution-focused practice and its applications in different areas of mental health. It also allowed to address other forms of intervention from shared learning with other disciplines.

It also allowed to address other forms of intervention from shared learning with other disciplines. The event, presented by Ms. Anna Sarrias, Head of Vocational Training at Jesuïtes Sarrià, was officially opened by Ms. Marta Anguera, Head Nurse at the Mental Health Institute of Hospital del Mar.

The event was attended by around 150 people and was structured into several round tables: The model of the future in training, featuring Duna Ulsamer, head of the Higher Level Training Cycle in Social Integration at Jesuïtes Sarrià - Sant Ignasi; Treatments in the Psychiatry of the future; and Community: where are we going?

The objectives of this worthwhile conference are to transmit values of solidarity, hope and the will to continue fostering participative projects connected to social actions to improve our care and dedication to our patients as professionals from a humanist perspective.

The event is the end of the ECREVI conducted with the students of 1st and 2nd year of Social Integration, where they have worked directly with the Institute of Mental Health to break down the stigma about mental health.
