Prize at the Travelthon IQS competition
As part of the Business Operations and Business Model Design subject of 2nd year Baccalaureate, students were offered the chance to take part in the Travelthon organised by IQS on Sustainable Tourism.
The purpose of the Travelthon is to reward the most sustainable trip among the participating groups. The school students who took part were Cristina Acha, Marc Gascón, Martina Sabino and Júlia Yepes, who organised a trip to San Vicente de la Barquera (Cantabria) to preserve the local beaches through waste collection and support local commerce. After a number of hours of work and an oral presentation, the panel decided that the team formed by our students and named "CSI" was the winner. The prize, of course, will be to take the trip organised by the students, financed by IQS.
