In Llar 1 we enjoyed an artistic and sensory activity focused on the traces left by objects. By experimenting with paint, the children discovered that objects are not just for touching or manipulating, but also for leaving an imprint.
In this activity we used the wheels of a car as a painting tool. The children rolled them on the paper, curiously observing how, as they moved forward, lines, marks, and paths full of colour appeared.
The process was just as important as the result. The children experimented freely, repeated movements, explored pressure and displacement, and enjoyed seeing how their actions had a visible consequence. All of this develops coordination, concentration, and the discovery of cause and effect.
Through activities such as this one, at Llar 1 we continue to foster meaningful learning, respecting each child's natural rhythm and based on discovery, manipulation, and the joy of creating.
