We are a European Parliament Ambassador School!
This October, our school has been appointed European Parliament Ambassador School (EPAS).
The European Parliament Ambassador Schools (EPAS) programme seeks to bring the legislative and political work of the European Parliament closer to pupils. Schools that take part in the programme commit to involving a group of 20 to 60 pupils, who are distinguished as "Junior Ambassadors" of the European Parliament, as well as keeping an up-to-date InfoPoint on the European Parliament on their premises, to work on online materials supplied by the institution, to carry out activities throughout the academic year related to the European Union, and to celebrate Europe Day on 9 May.
From 27 to 29 September we attended the training days at the European Parliament headquarters in Madrid. We worked and learnt about various topics such as themes and contents, methodology, dynamisation and assessment of the project. You can find more information at this link.

The coming steps will be to share information with the faculty, to form a working team of students (Junior Ambassadors) and to prepare the first information point.
We are very excited about this appointment which will no doubt help our pupils in their European awareness and knowledge, and open doors to other projects.
