Trip to Javier
65 4th-year ESO students have travelled to Javier (Navarra) in order to learn about the figure of Saint Francis Xavier, who was a key figure in the founding core of the Society of Jesus.
From 19 to 21 April, as part of the Pastoral activities, the 4th-year pupils worked on several goals:
- To approach the figure of Xavier, to see how he challenges each one of us today.
- To reflect on how his story relates to our own, from the life of the Saint and from God, to be able to select and choose.
- Reflecting, thinking, stirring inside, doing a whole work of introspection to search for meaning in life.
This Ignatian space is an opportunity to mature and grow in spirituality and helps us to answer questions: Who am I? Who do I want to be? and On whose behalf do I want to live?
